WG8 appoints James Clark the Defects Editor for ISO/IEC 10179, DSSSL.

 Defect Reports for DSSSL

WG8 accepts N1883 as a summary of current Defect Reports for DSSSL and instructs the Defects Editor to develop the text of a proposed Technical Corrigendum.

 Disposition of Comments for ISO/IEC CD 13250, Topic Navigation Maps

WG8, accepts N1869 as Disposition of Comments for ISO/IEC CD 13250, Topic Navigation Maps. WG8 requests that those wishing to comment on the CD to contact mtbryan@sgml.u-net.com to be added to the e-mail list for the project. The editor is authorized to issue a new CD text for ballot.

 Font Services

WG8 accepts N1880 as proposed CD text for Font Services, Part 1, and forwards it to the SC18 Secretariat for CD processing and ballot.

 9541-1, Amendment 1

WG8 accepts N1885 as a Disposition of Comments on 9541-1/DAM1: Typeface design grouping and N1886 as the corresponding Editing Instructions; WG8 instructs the Defects Editor to prepare a final text and forward it to the SC18 Secretariat for publication.

 9541-1, Amendment 2

WG8 accepts N1878 as a Disposition of Comments on 9541-1/PDAM2 and N1879 as the corresponding Editing Instructions; WG8 instructs the Defects Editor to prepare a DAM text and forward it to the SC18 Secretariat for DAM processing.

 SMSL

WG8 accepts N1890, the U.S. contribution on the development of SMSL, and N1891 as editing instructions for SMSL. WG8 authorizes the editors to prepare a new text for a CD ballot.

 Standard HTML

WG8 accepts N1884 as the Disposition of Comments for the NP ballot on Standard HTML and instructs the editors to prepare a CD for comments.

HyTime Technical Corrigendum

WG8 has reviewed and approved the internal draft of the integrated corrected HyTime standard, produced in accordance with Recommendation 4 of the Munich meeting. WG8 instructs the Project Editors to make any necessary corrections to the text and to forward it to the SC18 Secretariat for publication. WG8 authorizes the Project Editors to cooperate with the ITTF in testing its SGML-based publishing system provided that doing so does not unduly delay publication.

 Report of SGML RG

WG8 accepts N1893 as the report of the SGML Review.

 SGML TC

WG8 accepts N 1895 as dispostion of comments on the SGML TC ballot and authorizes the SGML editor to forward the final text to the SC18 Secretariat for publication. WG8 N1854 has been made obsolete by this TC and is withdrawn.

 Programme of Work

WG8 accepts N1887 as a statement of its Programme of Work, including target dates, assignment of editors and liaisons, and schedule of future meetings.
