For the productive joint development of international standards with Japan, and for the self-dependent standard development of Asian countries in future, it is necessary to develop the capacity of standard development in each Asian country.
CICC, getting support from Japan Standard Association (JSA), is organizing a seminar on the international standardization process for standardization bodies of Asian countries.
The seminar includes much deeper understanding of the importance of international standards, processes and directives of international standard development, actual practice in standard development discussion and hands on experience to provide a draft proposal of the standards.
