The use of XML is very popular, and XML Topic Map has a potential for applications over Internet. Therefore, XML-based syntactic specification for TMQL operations is important from the point of view of applications. The XML mapping from the general BNF syntax should be added for convienence in an Annex.
In the clause entitled by "Describing topic maps
(usually Q-TM) in TMQL embedded notation", the "misname"
in the description
[foo = "basename"; "sortname"; "misname"]
should be "dispname" or something which represents
"display name".
