Summary of DocSII Symposium 2003

1. DocSII provides the ISO/IEC JTC1/SC34 project of Amendment to ISO/IEC TR 19758 and the related ISO members with the information discussed in this symposium, so that the project may draft a PDAM (Proposed Draft Amendment) text.

DocSII members may be requested to make some clarification of the discussion in this symposium, in accordance with the processing in ISO/IEC JTC1/SC34.

2. DocSII instructs CICC to circulate the PDAM text within DocSII members for their review and comments.

3. DocSII will hold the next symposium in 2004 fall. The location, date and major topics of the symposium will be informed of by CICC. DocSII members will be requested to submit their papers on the topics for document style and layout.

The participants of this symposium are strongly requested to attend the next symposium to enable seamless discussion.

One of the topics of the next symposium will be an implementation guide for document style processing.
